Education and Background

Brennan Cumalander is a dedicated attorney at Horton & Mendez Injury Attorneys. He graduated from the University of North Carolina (UNC) in 2015 and earned his Juris Doctor from Campbell Law School in 2018. Brennan furthered his legal education by obtaining an LL.M. in International Legal Practice from Nottingham Law School in the UK.

Brennan began his legal career in insurance defense, focusing on workers’ compensation. A long-time visitor to Wilmington, Brennan’s family has lived in the area full-time for about 9-10 years, and his grandparents have been residents for over 30 years. This deep-rooted connection to the community fuels his passion for helping local residents.
In his free time, Brennan enjoys playing with his dog, visiting the beach, and exploring his love for history. He also enjoys reading, skiing, cooking, traveling, and playing golf. Brennan’s diverse interests contribute to his well-rounded perspective and his ability to connect with clients from all walks of life.
