Devlin is the firm’s lead trial lawyer. He focuses on aggressively litigating serious personal injury and wrongful death cases. Devlin has tried numerous cases to jury verdicts in state and federal court. He also has a track record of favorably settling large claims for clients before trial.

Devlin has experience that counts. He spent years working at a large multi-state law firm defending lawsuits on behalf of corporations and insurance companies. This experience gives Devlin an edge dealing with the defense during litigation and at trial.

Devlin received his law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As an undergraduate, Devlin worked for the Department of Justice in the United States Attorney’s Office on several trial teams with federal prosecutors. Devlin’s experience in the courtroom as an undergraduate led him to his career as a trial lawyer.

Outside of advocating for his clients, Devlin enjoys duck hunting, fishing, surfing, and cheering on the North Carolina Tar Heels.
