TRIAL ATTORNEY
Brooke Webber
Trial Attorney Advocate serving all of North Carolina
Brooke Webber is a Trial Attorney at Horton & Mendez Injury Lawyers, representing injured people and their families in Raleigh and across North Carolina. Her practice centers either (1) first party insurance – cases where a client’s own homeowner’s insurance refuses to pay a covered loss to their property and (2) personal injury and medical malpractice —cases where someone else’s negligence has upended a client’s health, work, and financial security. Brooke pairs a relentless work ethic with a genuinely compassionate approach, and she brings both to every file she touches.
Brooke has spent the majority of her career in civil litigation. She began in general civil practice in Raleigh, handling criminal, real estate, and general litigation matters statewide, and went on to build a litigation practice representing clients in personal injury, medical malpractice, first party insurance, and real property disputes.
Her preparation habits took root well before she was licensed. As a law student she served as a legal extern to the North Carolina Court of Appeals, was elected to the Campbell Law Review, and competed on both the Moot Court and Negotiations teams. Even before law school she worked as a paralegal assistant supporting medical malpractice and general litigation teams — preparing subpoenas, chasing down medical records, and learning from the ground up how a case file is actually built. That grounding shows in how thoroughly she works a case today.
Brooke is a Pittsburgh native who spent most of her childhood traveling the country playing ice hockey. She was recruited to keep playing in college and ultimately moved to Baltimore, where she played for Stevenson University while earning her B.S. in Legal Studies, served as President of the Legal Society, volunteered at a Baltimore law clinic, interned with the Maryland General Assembly, and mentored local teenagers. She came to Raleigh for law school and fell in love. Outside of work, you can find Brooke trying a new local food spot, being walked by her German Shepherd, or spending time with her family.
