Based in the Charlotte metro area, Amy will lead the firm’s growing pre-litigation team, helping injured clients and their families navigate the earliest stages of their personal injury claims while developing case strategies designed to maximize value and results.
Amy brings a unique perspective to personal injury law, having served as an Assistant Public Defender, civil defense attorney, insurance claims administrator, and plaintiff’s attorney throughout her career. Her experience on all sides of the legal process provides valuable insight into how insurance companies evaluate claims and how cases are best positioned for successful resolution.
Prior to joining Horton & Mendez, Amy spent seven years serving as a Senior Pre-Litigation Attorney for one of North Carolina’s largest personal injury firms, where she directed case strategy and supervised a team of more than thirty legal and administrative professionals.
Amy’s addition reflects Horton & Mendez’s continued investment in experienced leadership as the firm expands throughout North Carolina.
